It’s been known that Neil Patrick Harris is gay in real life. It’s totally ironic that he’s a womanizing boy geek in a man’s hot body. His character, Barney, sleeps with as many women as he can and does the worst things to bag those bimbos like pretend he’s a producer of some sort, an astronaut, he even put old-man make-up on to make a girl think he was future Barney and later convinced her that she could save the world if she slept with past Barney who was working on a top secret project on global warming—that supposedly worked, yet again, it’s just a sitcom.
Another time, Barney pretended to make an offer on the house that Lily and Marshall end up buying so he could sleep with a girl while it was still furnished by the owners’ belongings. He left the girl (while she was in the shower) to be charged with trespassing.
