Here are some of the funny and silly things I’ve heard from How I Met Your Mother:

“What up?!”
You have to hear them say this to understand why it’s so funny. It’s really Barney’s line. He says it after he tells a story of something he did and that something he thinks is incredible.

“Awesome”
Anything great or nice or amazing is always termed as “Awesome.” Ted, Barney, Lily, and Marshall think they’re all awesome. Robin only uses “hot” to describe herself.

“Lawyered!”
This is what Marshall always says after he proves a point.

“Challenge accepted!”
Even when what’s been said is remotely far from challenging, Barney always says this. Like when

“It’s gonna be Legen… Wait for it… Dary!”
Every time Barney invites anyone to anything he wants to do.
